Role Overview
You will play a pivotal role in shaping the educational journey of international high school students. Ideal candidates should possess a strong passion for teaching and a deep commitment to fostering student growth and development.
Key Responsibilities
Lesson Planning: Develop and deliver engaging daily lesson plans tailored to meet educational objectives.
Instruction: Communicate clear learning goals and employ a variety of teaching materials to support interactive educational experiences.
Assessment: Assess and evaluate student performance, assigning grades and providing constructive feedback.
Record-Keeping: Maintain accurate records of student progress and achievements.
Qualifications
Experience: Previous experience teaching Science at the high school level is required.
Education: Bachelor's degree is essential; certification or licensure in Science is also required.
Skills: Excellent communication skills, problem-solving abilities, and professionalism are crucial. Candidates should demonstrate the ability to multitask effectively and exhibit a high energy level.
Preferences: Experience with online teaching, familiarity with Advanced Placement (AP) courses, and prior experience working with international students are preferred.
Contract Details
Schedule: Monday to Friday, primarily from 8-11 am or 8-11 pm Eastern Time, with occasional weekend availability.
Compensation: Up to $40.00 per hour based on experience and qualifications.
