Position Overview
We are currently seeking passionate individuals to join our team as Virtual English Tutors. As a tutor, you will have the opportunity to teach 1-on-1 and small group classes using our advanced curriculum from the comfort of your own home. Build meaningful connections with your students during weekly or biweekly sessions and help them develop the language skills they need to succeed in an increasingly interconnected world.
Responsibilities
Design and deliver engaging lessons based on ESL teaching methodologies
Encourage students to actively participate and communicate in English
Create a supportive and inclusive learning environment through motivation and humor
Foster student engagement through reading passages and conversation activities
Manage classroom dynamics effectively
Maintain accurate records of student progress
Collaborate with our team as needed to ensure student success
Adhere to standardized guidelines to ensure consistency and quality
Requirements
Bachelor's degree or proof of enrollment in a BA program
Availability to tutor during mornings (before 10 AM EST), late evenings (after 7 PM EST), or weekends
Excellent command of the English language with a neutral accent
Ability to work with students of all ages and backgrounds
Patience and cultural awareness
Commitment to a consistent weekly schedule with repeating students for at least 3 months
