The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing and engaging with the organization's online community in a way which builds brand awareness.They will work cross functionally with internal partners to understand business objectives in order to communicate effectively with customers.
Key Responsibilities:
Build and Grow the Membership Community:
Develop onboarding, training, and resources to make Community Members successful on the platform
Achieve an x% increase in the number of new community members within the first 6 months
Increase the percentage of active community members to x% by the end of the first year
Recognize and Empower Membership Community Leaders:
Develop a recognition program for active and influential Community Leaders, this could include things like awards, “badges,” and special access to resources
Empower at least ## Community Leaders to take on more responsibilities and lead community initiatives within the first year
Drive Membership Community Engagement and Sentiment:
Increase post and comment activity in community forums by x% within the first year
Maintain a positive sentiment score in community interactions and feedback
Foster Strong Collaboration with Product Managers:
Ensure that community feedback is reviewed, prioritized and considered by Product Managers
Conduct bi-weekly meetings with Product Managers to discuss community feedback and collaboration opportunities
Launch joint initiatives or projects with Product to get feedback and drive adoption
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree or above in Communications, Marketing, or a related field
Proven experience in community management, social media management, or a related role
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Strong understanding of social media platforms and analytics tools
Ability to analyze data, identify trends, and implement strategic adjustments
Creative thinking with the ability to develop innovative engagement strategies
Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
Experience with content creation, including writing, basic graphic design, and video editing, is a plus
