We are seeking passionate and qualified candidates for an Online Adjunct Faculty position in Social Work. This role offers an exciting opportunity to teach in the online Bachelor of Social Work and/or Master of Social Work programs. You will have the chance to educate students in various subjects, including human behavior in the social environment, research, generalist/clinical/macro practice, policy, social justice, and other elective topics.
Responsibilities
Online Teaching Duties:
Deliver engaging and high-quality instruction during three to five synchronous sessions per semester in an online format.
Utilize the university's learning management system, Canvas, to manage course content and communications.
Prepare informative and engaging weekly asynchronous videos to enhance the online learning experience.
Hold weekly virtual office hours to provide support and guidance to students.
Communicate effectively with students in a timely manner, demonstrating excellent written and oral communication skills.
Provide prompt feedback and grades to students.
Fulfill additional duties as required while teaching in our programs.
Adhere to all university and School of Social Work policies.
Position Details
This is a part-time, non-benefited appointment.
Salary: $4,341 for 3 credits ($1,447 per credit hour).

Required Qualifications
A minimum of a Master's degree in Social Work or a related field.
Demonstrated expertise and experience in the field of social work or a related field, with two years post-graduate degree preferred.
Teaching experience, preferably in higher education, with a focus on social work education or a related field.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Ability to effectively engage with a diverse student population.
Clinical licensure is required for certain courses.
