Position Overview
We are currently seeking experienced professionals for the role of Online Adjunct Faculty in Firearms Technology. This remote, part-time position involves instructing students enrolled in our Associate Degree in Firearms Technology and Certificate in Firearms Technology-Gunsmithing programs. As an Adjunct Faculty member, you'll leverage your industry expertise to deliver engaging instruction through our online classroom platform, helping students develop the skills they need to succeed in the firearms industry.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities
Maintain teaching assignments in accordance with established faculty requirements and responsibilities.
Engage students in asynchronous online classroom discussions, providing guidance and feedback to support their learning.
Offer academic support to students via email, phone, and within our Learning Management System.
Provide timely and constructive feedback on student assignments, fostering academic success.
Cultivate a positive learning environment that encourages active participation and collaboration among students.
Demonstrate professionalism through effective time management, record-keeping, and collaboration with colleagues.
Collaborate with peers to enhance instructional materials and curriculum development.
Serve as a consultant on curriculum development projects as needed.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree or higher in a related field.
Minimum of two years of management experience in a firearms or gunsmithing business.
At least two years of experience teaching or training adult learners.
