The company is seeking a Chief Financial Officer for its business activities in the USA and globally. The position is a 70% strategic level role and will report to the CEO and the Board.

Experience

Experience of working with Group Holding Companies. Top management / Board / Audit Committee. Experience in Investment Banking, especially in deal making, will be an added advantage - Preferably from industries Edynsco operates in: Agtech Industry, Real Estate, Renewable Energies, and Capital investment or financial services.

USA (candidate should be preferably from USA but strong candidate from other countries will be considered)

Job Summary

As a member of the senior leadership team, the CFO will be an advisor to the top management & Managing Director/CEO of business segments for evaluating and assisting them with the road map of growth and direction for all the businesses. He / She shall also be responsible for overseeing all fiscal and fiduciary responsibilities for the company, in conjunction with the board of directors and the finance and audit committees of the board.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Assist in formulating the company's future direction and supporting tactical initiatives
  • Monitor and direct the implementation of strategic business plans
  • Develop financial and tax strategies for USA and International entities
  • Manage the capital request and budgeting processes
  • Develop performance measures that support the company's strategic direction
  • Partnering with the top management to drive the operations of the company in all business segments
  • Lead the process of finding growth opportunities within existing business segments and in new business through organic and inorganic growth.
  • Has exposure to M&As and of hives offs of businesses.
  • Key understanding of the usage of capital allocation and risk management in a conglomerate
  • Manage the treasury and investment banking function
  • - Monitor cash balances and cash forecasts. Roll over CP and NCD on maturity
  • - Arrange for debt and equity financing
  • - Represent the company with investment bankers and investors
  • - Strong investment fundamentals
  • - Managing promoter equity investment in various business verticals
  • - Maximize business return on investment
  • Coordinate and lead the annual statutory audit process, liaise with external auditors (KPMG, PWC. etc) and present to the audit committee. Overall oversight of the Consolidation process of standalone accounts with that of its subsidiaries and Associates
  • Drive the implementation of ERP across the group with SOPs across the organization.
  • Knowledge of Company Secretarial matters an added advantage.
  • Build & develop local talents in each location. Should have the expertise of managing multi-locational teams.
