This role will deliver high quality support within the HR function. This Co-op/Internship will provide an exciting and challenging opportunity for an individual who is seeking to gain experience in Human Resources. In addition to coordination tasks, you will partner directly with HR Leaders to build and drive key initiatives around employer brand, new hire onboarding, data analysis, and many other administrative tasks.
Requirements
Key Accountabilities:
Update company databases by inputting new employee records and any changes for existing employees
Respond to the HR team, employee benefits, and other Human Resources related matters
Assist with personnel administration, employee information, and employment documentation
Assist with various benefit related tasks, including invoice reconciliation and benefits administration
Prepare materials for orientation and assist in conducting orientation
Support the ongoing integration work for a newly acquired TMX business - VettaFi
Assist in the coordination of learning programs, participants and trainers, and maintain inventory of training materials
Assist in tracking and reporting of course attendance, course completion and participant satisfaction scores
Research and recommend new ways to increase efficiencies and streamline processes
Assist with functions of HR office coordination – ordering supplies, registering guests, entering building requests, etc.
Assist with other projects as needed
Must Haves
Working toward a degree - ideally with a focus and passion for Human Resources or related program
Excellent interpersonal skills and comfortable interacting with others to build effective working relationships
Highly motivated, with strong time management skills and an ability to work with deadlines
Impeccable administrative and organization skills along with outstanding attention to detail
Technical proficiency with MS Office
Strong sense of confidentiality, integrity and the ability to deal with sensitive information
Quick learner and tech-savvy in order to quickly learn our Learning Management System (LMS) and Human Resources Management System (Workday) and Paylocity
Nice To Haves
Experience working with Google Suite, HRMS Workday or Paylocity
