Position Summary
The Office Supervisor oversees the staff and assists in the facilitation and coordination of the leadership, management, and operational functions. This individual serves as a professional role model, leader, mentor, and resource for members of the clinic.
Major Position Responsibilities

Maintains a safe, clean working environment, including unit based safety and infection control requirements.
Oversee staff and assist in the facilitation and coordination of the leadership, management, and operational functions.
Serves as a professional role model, leader, mentor, and resource for members of the clinic.
Responsible for employee scheduling, performance evaluations and coaching.
Completes all timecards and timekeeping adjustments (PTO, etc.) and approves timecards.
Participates in interviewing and selecting candidates for open positions.
Responsible for oversight of scheduling process of patients, communication with internal & external customers and medical record audits.
Implements TCMC approved policies and procedures.
Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications
Minimum three (3) years lead or supervisory experience, required.
Minimum one (1) year insurance authorization experience, required.
Minimum two (2) years medical coding experience, preferred.
Minimum two (2) years Cerner or similar system experience, preferred.
Must have good communication and organizational skills, required.
Computer experience, including Windows applications, MS Office, required.
Excellent customer service skills, required.
Education
High School Diploma or GED required.
Each new hire candidate who is offered employment must pass a physical evaluation, urine drug screen and pre-employment background checks before starting work.
Salary/Hourly Wage range based on experience.
