We are offering a contract opportunity for an Office Manager/Event Coordinator in the Veterinary Services sector, based in New York. The role involves overseeing the smooth running of the office, coordinating staff events, and efficiently handling administrative tasks such as expense tracking and travel management.
Responsibilities
Coordinating and setting up meetings, including ordering food and arranging meals.
Planning and executing in-house staff events.
Overseeing the stocking of pantries with necessary items such as paper plates and utensils.
Organizing awareness activities related to Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) and recognition weeks.
Tracking expenses and managing the office budget.
Handling travel arrangements for staff.
Managing calendars in a light capacity.
Using accounting software systems to manage accounts payable and receivable, and perform other billing functions.
Using Microsoft Office Suites, especially Excel, for various administrative tasks.
Providing excellent customer service, addressing inquiries, and resolving issues efficiently.
Requirements
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suites, including Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Outlook
Proficiency with Excel
Expense reporting
Ordering food for team
Coordinating in-house office events
Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
