Position Summary: The Office Manager is responsible for the day-to-day retail operations and management of the office, along with leading a high-quality performance from the team that reports directly to them. The Office Manager also meets the needs of our customers by providing unmatched customer service, which may involve being cross-trained in multiple positions.

Efficiently identify all of the customer's needs by building relationships and maintaining knowledge of both personal and business products.
Answer incoming calls, whether externally or internally
Professionally, courteously and promptly greet and acknowledge all customers that walk into the Office
Maintain relationships with customers brought in by Relationship Managers
Responsible for training, scheduling, and assigning work of subordinates
Resolve customer complaints in a professional and courteous manner
Market and publicize new and existing products and services introduced by the bank
May represent the Bank in various community functions with a high level of integrity and professionalism
Responsible for daily payment decisions
Responsible for accuracy and completion of certain audits to include: weekly, monthly, quarterly and surprise audits as needed
Review and approve weekly time attendance reports for subordinates
Follow policy and procedures, and support Management's decisions and goals in a positive, professional manner.
Must be able to perform the duties of a Customer Service Representative to include, but not limited to:
Open and close all account types, while preparing the proper documentation
Initial gathering and understanding of proper identification/documentation of the requirements to open a new account or make changes
Provide ongoing maintenance to existing or closed accounts to include, but not limited to: process wire transfer requests, stop payments, name and address changes
Maintain confidentiality of all customer records, accounts and transactions
Dependent upon experience, the following duties of a Relationship Manager to include, but not limited to:
Meet and communicate with applicants to determine their needs
Take loan applications & review creditworthiness
Review, authorize, and recommend personal and commercial loans
Branch Security Officer duties to include ensuring safety and security of customers, employees and branch assets *this role can be assigned to another officer within the office*
Prepare necessary reports, perform various clerical duties and/or miscellaneous projects as assigned by Management
Occasionally may be required to assist the teller line
Minimum Qualifications
High School diploma or equivalent with additional business-related training
At least five (5) years of experience within a financial institution
Skills, Abilities & Expectations
Be familiar with and follow policy and procedures, and support Management's decisions and goals in a positive, professional manner.
Stay abreast of regulatory requirements and complete annual compliance training applicable to the position
Ability to apply general accounting knowledge processes (debits, credits, balancing)
Assuring customer service is top priority whether internally or externally; treating customers and employees professionally, with courtesy and respect
Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment, handle multiple tasks, and prioritize work
Detail oriented and organized
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

Physical Demands
The employee will occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. The employee will regularly sit; talk; hear; and use hands to finger, handle or feel. The employee will occasionally stand; walk; reach with hands and arms; climb and balance; and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. Special vision requirements include close, distant, and peripheral vision; depth perception; and the ability to adjust focus. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. The work environment and physical demands are those of a standard retail branch setting.
