Micro Precision is looking for an individual to join our dynamic and growing company. The ideal candidate will be able to multi-task all responsibilities, maintain professionalism, and help make sure all office processes and procedures are followed. This is a full-time position.
Supervises and coordinates overall administrative activities for the Office Administration Department.
Negotiates the purchase of office supplies and furniture, office equipment, etc., for the entire staff in accordance with company purchasing policies and budgetary restrictions.
Supervises the maintenance of office equipment, including copier, fax machine, etc.
Responsible for the facility's day-to-day operations (such as invoicing, creating purchase orders, quoting orders for customers, and updating the internal customer management system)
Recording day-to-day expenses into QuickBooks and paying bills to vendors on time.
In constant communication with Corporate Headquarters
Responding to customer inquiries and complaints;
Reviewing and updating health and safety policies and conducting monthly safety meetings with staff.
Partner with HR to maintain office policies as necessary and keep personnel files up to date
Duties, responsibilities, and activities may change at any time with or without notice
Customer Pick up/Deliveries; Receiving inspection; Equipment data entry; Equipment cleaning.
Final inspection; Shipping preparations; Confirm Purchase Orders, COD, etc…
Requirements:
Valid Driver's License
Basic Knowledge of Mechanical and Dimensional equipment preferred
Experience in basic instrumentation and manual tools preferred
Basic mathematics understanding
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Experience in MS Word and Excel
Ability to work both independently and under the supervision of Senior Technicians
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. without assistance
Training We accept applicants new to the calibration industry who are eager to learn
Work Environment
Work performed in the local laboratory and at customer facilities
Up to 25% out of town, overnight travel
