Office Associate & Bookkeeper

Chrysalis Studio /The Border Gallery Bonita Springs, FL

Independent Contractor- Office Assistant and light bookkeeping. 25 to 30 hours a week may be required. Exciting, face-paced, creative, dynamic office with a variety of duties working with an artist/owner. Vehicle required. Some flexibility with hours.

Duties include:

Ability to complete tasks independently.

Answering phone and taking messages. Ordering office supplies.

Proficiency in MS Office and familiarity with social media.

Management of incoming mail and email sorting, printing, calendar input, follow-up on action items; preparation of letters, reports, travel arrangements.

Setting up appointments and follow-up.

Coordination with owner and other workers.

Knowledge of computers, printers and business etiquette.

Maintaining of records, including: data base of students, clients, and media records, developing reports & filing.

Maintaining of inventory of art records & locations.

Knowledge of data entry on Excel spreadsheets.

Filing historical records of artist shows, etc.

Strong organizational and time-management skills; ability to multi-task and prioritize work.

Interest in the Arts is a plus.

May be asked to do research on projects and opportunities for the artist.

Past experience as an Admin Assistant required.

Minimum of high school diploma and/or associate degree or business school graduate desirable.

Work force re-entry with maturity highly desirable.
