Food Trends Catering & Events is a full-service caterer and event planning company with over 25 years of experience. Join a woman-owned family-run business that grew from a small shop to one of the most renowned caterers in the industry. At the same time, Food Trends has invested in sophisticated procedures and technology to become one of the most efficiently run catering enterprises in the tri-state area. Between Manhattan and NJ the facilities total over 30,000 sq ft. Our attention to detail and customer service and grown to serve over 1,000 customers daily. Our clients include (but are not limited to) Fortune 500 corporations, fashion houses, weddings, universities, and historic venues. It is an exciting time as we are expanding our Tri-State presence!



RESPONSIBILITIES

Food Trends is looking for an individual to support and work side by side with the CEO to help drive forward the vision of the company:


  • Manage CEO's calendar - business and personal - prioritize meetings and proactively resolve scheduling conflicts
  • Function as CEO's right-hand person to support day-to-day activities
  • Reply to correspondences on the CEO's behalf as necessary
  • Lead or co-lead projects on behalf of the CEO
  • Work across different departments to translate ideas into actionable plans
  • Optimize the CEO's workload and facilitate administrative tasks
  • Keep a pulse on CEO priorities and ensure that they are on track
  • Conduct research and perform personal errands for the CEO
  • Assist in HR-related activities such as onboarding and talent acquisition


QUALIFICATIONS

  • Ability to work independently
  • Enjoy working in a fast-paced, results-driven environment
  • Excel in managing projects - identify, communicate, and problem-solve
  • Detail-oriented and highly organized (Maria Kondo is an idol!)
  • Eager to grow and learn
  • Proficient in technology (ie Microsoft Office) and open to learning new software
  • Positive, self-motivating attitude
  • Min 2 years of relevant experience (start-up/food service experience preferred)
