The Off-Road Director is responsible for driving Off-Road brand strategy that creates demand for Off-Road products, establish brand credibility and accelerates growth across all product categories. This role is responsible for driving strategies that will ensure long-term brand strength and working with key partners to execute them. Responsibilities include everything from sales strategy to dealer network approach, and marketing planning and execution. This position reports to the Ducati North America CEO.

Create North American vision and roadmap to success for Off-Road products
Aligning stakeholders with the vision and strategy for Off-Road – Internal (Ducati North America (DNA) & Ducati Motor Holding (DMH) and external (dealer network, media, teams/riders via Ducati Corse)
Responsible for developing and implementing U.S. and Canada Off-Road product sales strategies
Establishes off-road product sales planning, objectives and works with Sales & Operations Director for achievement
Prepares, monitors and updates Off-Road budget/forecast budget, both income and expense
Develops and manages grassroots racing programs to inspire local/regional use of Ducati Off-Road products for competition
Gathers, monitors and reports information on competition and market trends including suggested actions with market & product development
Responsible for reporting and analysis of the Off-Road segment
Along with the Network Development Director, develop profitable Off-Road dealer network, including estimated volumes by market, execution of retail identity & dealer marketing plan
Relay technical product needs for commercial viability and competitiveness
Oversees preparation of sales proposals and tools; participates in sales presentations as required
Work closely with Marketing Director on key marketing strategy projects by building brand architecture and new product launches
QUALIFICATIONS:
Off-Road motorcycle enthusiast
Bachelor’s degree (B.A.) or equivalent in related field
Proven leadership and business acumen skills
10 years industry wholesale sales management role with national scope
Comprehensive knowledge of Off-Road motorcycle industry including Motocross, Cross Country and Enduro
Experience with national and regional Off-Road racing series
Must be motivated self-starter and possess ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic and entrepreneurial type of environment
Exceptional organizational skills, attention to detail and the ability to initiate and drive projects independently
Strong computer skills - specifically Excel, Word, and Outlook
Commitment to excellence and high standards
Excellent written, oral communication and presentation skills
Ability to work with all levels of management
Demonstrated ability to make successful presentations to individuals and/or groups at all levels of an organization
Ability to work independently and as a member of various teams and committees
Proven ability to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines and budgets
Good judgment and an ability to make timely and sound decisions
Understanding of the motorcycle industry and industry history and Ducati's product and product history
Versatility, flexibility, and a willingness to work within constantly changing priorities with enthusiasm
The published pay range for this position is $115,000 - $135,000, which doesn't include any bonus information and/or our very generous benefits package. This pay range may be adjusted for certain geographies, based on local labor costs. If you are hired at Ducati North America, your final base salary will be based on factors such as geographic location, skills, and depth of experience.
