Position: Import & Export Specialist (Ocean)

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Import & Export Specialist (Ocean) to join our freight forwarding team in Dallas, TX. The specialist will manage ocean import and export operations, ensuring efficient service delivery and compliance with regulations.

Responsibilities:

• Manage daily ocean import and export operations.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and international regulations.
• Coordinate shipments, including booking, documentation, and tracking.
• Liaise with carriers, customs brokers, and other stakeholders.
• Handle import and export customs clearance processes.
• Prepare and review import and export documentation.
• Maintain accurate records and ensure data integrity.
• Address and resolve service issues and customer complaints.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in ocean import and export operations.
• Strong knowledge of import/export regulations and customs procedures.
• Proficient in logistics software and MS Office Suite.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with mid-size freight forwarders.
• Knowledge of the German market and language skills.
