In addition to hands-on therapy, you will provide invaluable instruction and education to residents and caregivers, empowering them with the skills necessary to promote independence and overall well-being. This includes holding a valid Physical Therapist Assistant/Occupational Therapist Assistant license in the state of practice to ensure adherence to regulatory requirements. The role also requires the ability to meet the physical demands of the job, such as lifting up to 50 lbs., standing for extended periods, walking, and other tasks essential to providing hands-on care. Strong verbal and written communication skills are vital for effectively interacting with residents, colleagues, and caregivers. Additionally, good organizational and time management abilities are crucial for efficiently carrying out therapy programs and documenting progress.These skills are fundamental in delivering high-quality care and support to our residents at Four Winds Manor, Inc.Knowledge and skills required for the position are:
Must have a valid Physical Therapist Assistant/Occupational Therapist Assistant license in the state of Wiscosnin.
Must be able to handle the physical demands of the job including but not limited to lifting of up to 50 lbs.
Carrying, standing for long periods of time walking etc.
Good verbal and written communication skills
Good organizational and time management skills.
