Job Summary
Under the supervision of the Director of Therapy Relief at Hope, the Occupational Therapist will provide and oversee occupational therapy treatments to improve fine motor skills, cognitive perceptual skills, visual-motor coordination, visual-spatial processing, and daily self-care tasks. This position will provide services out of our Therapy Relief headquarters in St. Louis, MO.

Job Summary
Under the supervision of the Director of Therapy Relief at Hope, the Occupational Therapist will provide and oversee occupational therapy treatments to improve fine motor skills, cognitive perceptual skills, visual-motor coordination, visual-spatial processing, and daily self-care tasks. This position will provide services out of our Therapy Relief headquarters in St. Louis, MO.
What You Will Do
- Assess individuals’ performance and serve as a member of an interdisciplinary team in preparing, implementing, and evaluating treatment plans and therapeutic devices for assigned case load.
- Develop occupational therapy plans of treatment with short- and long-range goals based upon assessments.
- Recommend or fabricate adaptive equipment for daily living needs, including communication.
- Maintain detailed records and compile written progress reports and treatment plans, including type of therapy and evaluations of the results.
- Provide guidance and training to parents/guardians, teachers, and/or caretakers.
- Participate in ongoing treatment meetings, staff meetings, and professional development opportunities.
- Master’s degree from an approved school of occupational therapy.
- Missouri licensure as a registered Occupational Therapist.
- Proficiency in the use of personal computers and software applications
- 23 days of PTO annually, 11 paid holidays
