Occupational Therapist Assistant - Homecare

We are currently seeking skilled and compassionate Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants (COTAs) to join our team as independent contractors.

Qualifications

• Valid OTA License and Registration in New York.
• Experience in adult rehabilitation.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Familiarity with EMR software (preferred).
• Homecare experience (preferred).
  
  

Responsibilities

• Communicate effectively with office staff regarding patient updates.
• Schedule and manage patient visits independently.
• Conduct follow-up visits per the plan of care and the patient's progress.
• Document all visits using web-based EMR, ensuring compliance with Medicare guidelines.
• Maintain active credentials and adhere to HIPAA and company compliance standards.
