Position Overview

Our client, a leading healthcare facility with offices throughout the Mid-Atlantic, dedicated to improving patients' lives through clinical excellence and compassionate care, is seeking a skilled and dedicated Orthotic and Prosthetic (O&P) Technician to join their team. Key Responsibilities

Fabrication and Modification: Utilize a variety of materials, including plastics, metals, and composites, to fabricate orthotic and prosthetic devices. Modify existing devices to meet the unique needs and comfort of individual patients. The fabrication staff is committed to the highest quality fabrication, using new and inventive techniques while staying current on advanced materials and fabrication education.

Precision Workmanship: Demonstrate a high level of precision and attention to detail in the fabrication process. Utilize specialized tools and machinery to craft components with accuracy. Every device is rigorously tested and evaluated before it makes its way to patients.

Quality Control: Conduct thorough quality control assessments of completed devices. Identify and rectify any defects or discrepancies in the fabrication process.

Equipment Maintenance: Ensure that all fabrication equipment and tools are properly maintained and calibrated. Report any equipment malfunctions or maintenance needs promptly.

2+ years of experience OR Certification/Degree in Orthotics and Prosthetics Technology or a related field.

Proficiency in working with a variety of materials and fabrication techniques.

Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Ability to interpret and work from orthotic and prosthetic prescriptions.

Knowledge of relevant regulations and industry standards.

Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
