While TIME has PHP and IOP tracks in both Tennessee and Georgia, we have decided to expand our services to include residential treatment in order to be able to assist a larger variety of clients that may be struggling and in need. What we are looking for in a nutritionist:
Time is seeking a high school graduate/GED level professional with a CNC or equivalent for the nutritionist. Nutritionist candidates must have at least twelve months experience working with people at any capacity and experience managing a client caseload. Preferred experience working with adults with mental health and/or substance use issues. Canidates must be able to work effectively in a team setting and document all client interactions thoroughly.
Responsibilities of a Nutritionist :
Counsel patients on any dietary issues and healthy eating habits
Develop nutrition plans while taking into account the client’s budget and tastes
Assess clients’ nutritional and health needs
Evaluate if the meal plans have a positive effect on clients’ health
Create educational material about healthy eating habits
Read and contribute to the latest nutritional research
Speak to groups about the importance of nutrition to prevent specific diseases
Document patient progress
CNC or equivalent required for position.
