Responsibilities:

Key Responsibilities

Read and interpret published scientific literature on functional ingredient benefits (e.g., energy,

mood, cognition, physical performance) to assess viability of study

Summarize and organize studies in PICO format using summarized PICO charts and other

relevant scientific data, policies, and regulations

Create ingredient or benefit-specific dossiers

Track functional ingredient requests and create monthly dashboard for reporting purposes

Support Gatorade brand through collection and organization of student athlete waivers

Maintain and optimize team SharePoint

Qualifications/Requirements

Masters’ Degree or equivalent in Nutritional Science, Food Science or Life Sciences

Fundamental knowledge of functional ingredients and nutrients

Excellent scientific literacy and demonstrated ability to comprehend and interpret human

nutrition intervention studies

Ability to work within a matrixed organization

Ability to distill scientific concepts for technical and non-technical audiences

Education: Masters Degree
