As a Full-Time Nursing Faculty, your primary responsibility is the implementation of academic programs. You will teach clinical or lab courses and contribute to teaching, research, and service missions.
Requirements and Qualifications
Education: Master’s in Nursing (or in progress); MBA considered with a Bachelor’s in Nursing.
Experience: 15,000 hours or 3 years of bedside nursing experience.
Certifications: BLS certification, up-to-date immunizations (including COVID), federal and state background clearance, clear drug screen, current and unencumbered MN RN license.
Preferred: Pre-licensure program teaching experience.
Duties and Responsibilities
Facilitate student learning in clinical/lab settings and online.
Guide students in professionalism, practice, and research.
Evaluate student practice effectively.
Provide a supportive learning environment.
Give feedback to Course Coordinators and administrators.
Participate in curriculum development and evaluation.
Collaborate with the Director of Nursing Academic Services and healthcare partners.
Maintain clinical competence and knowledge in nursing.
