Responsible for nursing functions, providing patient care and assisting with medical obstetric ultrasounds.
Responsibilities
Work with clinic staff and volunteers to coordinate flow of patients.
Perform limited medical screening and pregnancy tests
Perform limited medical obstetric ultrasounds in accordance with our delegated orders, as scheduled
Initial patient assessments
Assist with patient/family education. Give instructions to patient as directed.
Maintain patient documentation according to clinic protocol. Document and report test results.
Assist with follow up of patient's medical conditions and test results.
Collect and run lab tests.
Incorporate principals of safety in all clinical operations. Demonstrate safe use of equipment related to patient care. Maintain infection control measures with all patient contact.
May drive the mobile sonogram unit
Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
Growing relationship with Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior as an active member of a Bible believing and preaching ministry
Pro-life in word and pro-love in action
Possess current RN license
Possess or be willing to obtain sonography training
Comply with state and professional licensing and continuing education requirements
Excellent communication skills, bilingual in English and Spanish a plus
High level of confidentiality
Experience working with volunteers a plus
Commitment to continued professional development especially in the areas of obstetrics, gynecology and womens health issues.
Intermediate to advanced skills with Microsoft Office products
