About The Role
Position: Nurse Practitioner for Virtual Patient Care
Location: Fully Remote
Schedule: Flexible, approximately 10 hours per week
Compensation: 1099 contract opportunity at $60/hour
Your Responsibilities
Conduct initial intake evaluation video visits with new adult patients.
Provide holistic patient evaluations, review lab results, and prescribe weight loss medications such as GLP-1 agonists when appropriate.
Collaborate with a diverse patient population, emphasizing inclusivity and evidence-based care.
Respond to patient inquiries through the portal and asynchronous chat.
Manage prescription refills and chronic condition management.
Requirements
Active Nurse Practitioner (NP) license in at least 4 states (AZ, CA, FL, GA, IL, MA, MI, NY, OH, PA, TX) with residency in one of the licensed states.
Board Certified (AGNP-BC or FNP-BC) by the ANCC or AANP.
Preferred: 2 years of independent practice experience as an NP, and 1-year experience in weight loss medicine, including prescribing GLP1 agonists.
Comfortable with prescribing compound medications.
Background in Internal or Family Medicine preferred, with a preference for experience in complex chronic condition management.
Preferred: Experience in telemedicine or virtual care.
