12 weeks - (4) 10-hour shifts M-TH 07:00-17:30 or 06:30-17:00 split between two facilities - PET Mobile unit at Franklin and Elmbrook Hospitals (19333 W. North Ave, Brookfield, WI 53045); CNMT, BLS; Call: none; Weekends: none; Holidays: none: Experience: PET experience required, Client Omni PET experience a plus; may need to float onsite within skill set when volumes are low or to sites within 40 miles if needed when volumes are low.
Roles & Responsibilities
Maintain and operate cameras that detect and map radioactive drugs in a patient's body to create diagnostic images.
Position patients and select anatomic and technical factors accurately.
Order, prepare, administer, and dispose of radiopharmaceuticals according to established protocols.
Follow radiation safety procedures and guidelines.
Ensure prompt submission of high-quality of all images and documents sent to PACS (image quality, correct lead markers and patient data/history).
Ensure equipment is properly functioning.
Report potential problems or equipment malfunction to appropriate personnel.
Lock/tag out equipment if appropriate.
Assist in maintaining a clean, and orderly department.
