Louisiana Associated General Contractors is seeking a motivated and well-qualified candidate to join their team as an area manager for North Louisiana. This is a remote / hybrid work position. Outside sales experience desirable, construction experience would be a bonus.

4.     Create and maintain relationships with members, elected officials, education system members, public employees, design community, etc.

5.     Public ‘face’ of / main point of contact for La. AGC in defined territory

8.     Consistently update rest of LAGC team with pertinent information regarding territory

9.     Study of public bid law and private works act

10. Execute the holistic vision for LAGC statewide

11. Successful candidate to reside in the service territory (Central / North La.)


Duties:

1.     Build and maintain relationships

2.     Maintain call plan to routinely visit all members and stakeholders in territory

3.     Maintain weekly records of activities / information

4.     Attend public meetings (city council, police jury, DOTD, etc.) each week

5.     Execution of district level meetings and events (including advertising, registration & collection, post-event follow through)

6.     Assist LAGC team with execution of major events

7.     Follow all established procedures (financial and otherwise)

8.      Each area manager has additional area(s) of focus in addition to maintaining relationships with their members. This will be determined by the background / interest of successful applicant.


Salary plus a very competitive, full benefit package and annual bonus. Perspective hire date of September 1st, if not sooner.
