Position Summary
The Department of Systems Biology is seeking a part-time Non-Student Short-Term Casual to work with the U54 CSBC CaST Outreach Core director to further develop an online, cloud environment course on computational analysis of cancer genomics. Leveraging a version of the U54 CSBC-wide course for advanced undergraduates and subsequent preliminary modifications for high school students, the students will devise additional modifications of the materials to further improve comprehension by non-expert, high-school-level students. The product will be packaged into a stand-alone resource for use by the CSBC community and more broadly by interested high school programs.
Responsibilities
Learning to work with written code in an online environment
Provide feedback on code and data to simplify the presentation
Work closely with the Supervisor to implement modifications based on feedback
