New Business Manager:


The New Business Manager is responsible for driving the agency's growth by identifying, pursuing, and securing new business opportunities. This role involves developing and implementing strategies to attract new clients, nurturing relationships with potential clients, and collaborating with internal teams to craft compelling proposals and pitches. The ideal candidate is a proactive, results-driven professional with a strong understanding of the advertising industry and exceptional communication skills.


Responsibilities:


Business Development:

  • Identify and research potential clients and business opportunities in target markets.
  • Develop and implement strategies to attract new clients and secure new business.
  • Monitor industry trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities for growth.


Client Engagement:

  • Build and maintain relationships with prospective clients through networking, meetings, and presentations.
  • Understand prospective clients' needs, challenges, and goals to tailor proposals and pitches.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for potential clients, providing timely and accurate information.


Proposal and Pitch Development:

  • Collaborate with internal teams (creative, strategy, media, etc.) to develop customized proposals and pitches.
  • Oversee the preparation and delivery of presentations, ensuring they effectively communicate the agency's value proposition.
  • Continuously refine and improve pitch materials based on feedback and outcomes.


Project Management:

  • Coordinate with internal teams to ensure timely and successful delivery of proposals and pitches.
  • Track progress of business development activities and report on outcomes to senior management.
  • Manage new business processes and maintain accurate records of all interactions with potential clients.


Collaboration and Communication:

  • Work closely with account management, creative, and strategy teams to ensure alignment on business development goals and strategies.
  • Facilitate internal brainstorming sessions to generate innovative ideas and solutions for potential clients.
  • Communicate effectively with all stakeholders to keep them informed of business development activities and progress.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Advertising, Business, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in business development, account management, or a related role within an advertising agency.
  • Proven track record of securing new business and achieving sales targets.
  • Strong understanding of the advertising industry, including trends, challenges, and key players.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to think strategically and creatively to develop effective business development strategies.
  • Strong project management and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software.


Desired Skills:

  • Experience in advertising and understanding of advertising trends.
  • Knowledge of various advertising mediums (TV, print, digital, social media, etc.).
  • Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients and internal teams.
  • High level of initiative and ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Creative problem-solving skills and ability to think outside the box.
