Job Title: Network Technician II
Location: Cleveland, Ohio
Duration: Full-time role
Shift Timings: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
Job Description
As a Network Technician II, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional IT support and services to our clients. Here's what you'll be responsible for:
Field Technician Responsibilities: You'll be driving to client sites to deliver general IT support, handle break-fix and IMAC (install, move, add, change) calls, and provide varying levels of support for printers, laptops, servers, networks, and other technology devices.
Consultant Services: You'll offer comprehensive consultant services covering various aspects such as network LAN, WAN, WLAN, off-site data storage, cabling infrastructure, failsafe recovery, remote access systems, firewalls, routers, switches, application management, communications integration, phone systems, security access devices, email, DNS, web hosting, applications development, RAID storage, network printers, server deployments, and related hardware and software. Additionally, you'll be involved in setting up, installing, and maintaining wireless routers.
Smart Hands Technician: Your role will also involve tasks like PC refresh, desktops replacement, and laptops replacement.
Customer Focus: You will maintain a strong customer focus, ensuring deadlines and service level agreements (SLAs) are consistently met.
Travel: This position requires travel to each client's location.
Technical Support: You'll be responsible for maintaining, analyzing, troubleshooting, and repairing desktops, laptops, servers, and printers.
Supervision: You'll work under general supervision, demonstrating your ability to work autonomously.
Overtime: There may be overtime requirements.
Minimum Requirements
3+ years of experience supporting desktops, laptops, and printers.
3+ years of customer service experience.
Reliable transportation (reimbursed accordingly).
Flexibility to work weekends, staggered or late shifts, possibly including evenings and/or weekends.
Personable demeanor, capable of interacting effectively with a diverse range of users and environments.
Ability to work on a ladder or lift and lift up to 50lbs.
After training completion, candidates will be added to the on-call rotation 24/7.
Basic Needs/Haves
Ability to work from a bent, crouched, or kneeled position.
Smartphone with tethering/hot spot capabilities.
Laptop.
Basic hand tools.
Valid driver's license.
