Position Summary: Provides support for hospital networks through design, coordination, monitoring, and troubleshooting. Responsible for supporting server hardware and software including configuration and installation, upgrades, and troubleshooting. This position is also responsible for providing system administration and 24x7 technical support for the Radiology PACS system, Internet Firewall, and remote system connectivity. Other duties include researching, testing, and implementing new IS technology.
Experience: 1-2 Years experience with Microsoft OS/NOS and server applications. Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, WINS, DNS, switching/routing, VPN, and LAN/WAN topologies.
Education: Craft or technical school of up to 2 years duration.
Other Required License/Credentials/Skills: Knowledge of computer hardware and software including troubleshooting and repair techniques, and networking principles.
Bi-Weekly Hours: 80
Work Schedule: Monday through Friday 7:30AM - 4:00PM
