As a Network Engineer with expertise in Cisco ASA firewalls, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining the organization's network security infrastructure. Your primary focus will be on configuring and managing Cisco ASA firewalls to protect against cyber threats, unauthorized access, and data breaches.

As a Network Engineer with expertise in Cisco ASA firewalls, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining the organization's network security infrastructure. Your primary focus will be on configuring and managing Cisco ASA firewalls to protect against cyber threats, unauthorized access, and data breaches.
Key Responsibilities
- Configure and manage Cisco ASA firewalls, including setting up VPNs, implementing access control lists (ACLs), and configuring advanced features like Intrusion Prevention System (IPS) and Botnet Traffic Filter
- Monitor firewall performance, analyze traffic patterns, and optimize configurations to ensure optimal security and efficiency
- Collaborate with the security team to implement security best practices and stay up-to-date with the latest threats and mitigation strategies
- Troubleshoot and resolve firewall-related issues, ensuring minimal downtime and disruption to business operations
- Document firewall configurations, policies, and procedures for reference and compliance purposes
- Provide technical support and guidance to other IT teams and end-users regarding firewall-related matters
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field
- 8+ years of experience working as a Network Engineer with a focus on Cisco ASA firewalls
- Proficient in configuring and managing Cisco ASA firewalls, including VPNs, ACLs, IPS, and Botnet Traffic Filter
- Strong understanding of networking protocols, such as TCP/IP, IPSEC, HSRP, BGP, and OSPF
- Familiarity with network monitoring and diagnostic tools
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
- Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Relevant certifications, such as CCNP, CCIE, or CISSP, are preferred
