Onsite – – Providence (Johnston) Rhode Island

  • Incident Coordination for all open incidents in scope including escalation according to procedures.
  • Monitor and react to alerts for devices including Routers and Firewalls with given tools.
  • Monitoring all open incidents in the Vendor ticketing systems.
  • Monitoring and acknowledging emails in an alerting email inbox.
  • Monitoring AT&T Business Wi-Fi Portal for downed equipment.
  • Communication of all outages or compromised services in Start of Day (SOD) and End of Day (EOD) reporting.
  • Monthly reporting on all tickets created during the past 30 days.
  • Send daily open incident report to CCMS operations team.
  • Escalating tickets to Tier 3 and/or other support teams as appropriate.
  • Basic equipment troubleshooting with clients.
  • Document problems and resolution.
  • Maintain knowledge with accurate up-to-date information relating to current policies,
  • Provide superior customer support by analyzing, diagnosing, and resolving problems within service level agreements.
  • Must effectively manage call/email workload.
  • Incident Coordination for all open incidents in scope including escalation according to documented procedures
  • Monitoring of all devices using Netreo OmniCenter
  • Creation and coordination of all Third Party Vendor ticketing systems
  • Monitoring and acknowledging emails in an alerting email inbox
  • Monitoring AT&T Business Wi-Fi (ABW) Portal for downed equipment.
  • Communication of all outages or compromised services in Start of Day and End of Day reporting with client Executives
  • Send daily open incident report to client’s operations team
  • Escalating tickets to Tier 3 and/or other support teams as appropriate
  • In-depth troubleshooting with branch colleagues / smart hands vendors to reboot equipment or replace hardware.
  • Handle escalated cases from the Tier 1.5 team to resolution.
  • Communicate updates of ticket(s) to the client in a timely fashion.

Screening Questions

  • Would you be comfortable walking a branch colleague through power cycling on site equipment with only pictures as reference?
  • What, if any, experience do you have with incident handling?
  • Do you have any experience with Network monitoring tools such as OmniCenter?
  • What, if any, experience do you have with IT ticketing systems?
  • Tier 2 handles a lot of coordination between multiple vendors to coordinate dispatches. Have you had to coordinate vendor calls / dispatches previously?
  • Service level agreements are critical in this role and can keep pressure on the team at times. How do you handle tight deadlines?
  • How strong is your technical troubleshooting? Provide examples of previous experience.
