Network Engineer

Position Title: Pre-Sales Network Engineer

Location: Madison, AL

Environment: Hybrid

Position Status: Contract to Hire

Position Description:

We are seeking a talented and motivated Pre-Sales Network Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will work closely with the sales team to provide technical expertise and support during the sales process. You will be responsible for understanding customer needs, designing tailored network solutions, and demonstrating the value of our products and services.

Key Responsibilities:

• Technical Expertise: Act as the technical expert in networking solutions, providing in-depth knowledge of our products and services.
• Customer Engagement: Collaborate with the sales team to understand customer requirements and develop customized network solutions.
• Solution Design: Create and present network designs, configurations, and proposals that meet customer needs and align with our offerings.
• Product Demonstrations: Conduct product demonstrations and presentations to showcase the features, benefits, and capabilities of our networking solutions.
• RFP/RFI Responses: Assist in responding to Requests for Proposals (RFPs) and Requests for Information (RFIs) by providing technical content and solutions.
• Proof of Concept (PoC): Plan and execute PoC engagements to demonstrate the viability and performance of proposed solutions in customer environments.

Requirements:

• CCNA or CCNP.
• Mid-level network engineer wanting to move into pre-sales.
• Fortinet or Ruckus Support experience.
• Experience designing multi-site solutions.
• Strong understanding of networking protocols, architectures, and technologies (e.g., LAN/WAN, TCP/IP, DCHP, routing, switching, firewalls, VPNs, SD-WAN).
