Network Engineer

Responsibilities

Kforce has a client in Orlando, FL that is seeking a Network Engineer for a 3-6 month project. Responsibilities:

• Network Engineer will design, implement, and maintain complex network solutions based on Cisco technologies
• Configure and troubleshoot routers, switches, firewalls, and other networking devices
• Plan and execute network upgrades, migrations, and expansions
• As a Network Engineer, you will monitor network performance and implement optimizations to ensure reliability and efficiency
• Collaborate with other IT teams to integrate network infrastructure with other systems and services
• Provide technical support and guidance to junior network engineers and other IT staff
• Maintain documentation of network configurations, procedures, and policies
  
  

Requirements

• Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) certification or equivalent experience
• Strong understanding of TCP/IP, routing protocols (such as OSPF, EIGRP, BGP), switching technologies, VLANs, and subnetting
• Proficiency in configuring and troubleshooting Cisco routers and switches
  
  

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
