Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced and proactive Network Engineer to join our team in Dallas, Texas. As a key member of our IT infrastructure team, you will play a critical role in designing, implementing, and maintaining our network systems. Responsibilities:

• Network Design and Implementation:
• Design, configure, and deploy network solutions, including LAN, WAN, and wireless networks.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless connectivity across our organization.
• Optimize network performance and scalability.
• Network Security:
• Implement and maintain security protocols, firewalls, and intrusion detection systems.
• Monitor network traffic for anomalies and potential threats.
• Conduct regular security assessments and vulnerability scans.
• Troubleshooting and Support:
• Diagnose and resolve network issues promptly.
• Provide tier-3 support for network-related incidents.
• Work closely with end-users to address connectivity and performance concerns.
• Network Documentation:
• Maintain accurate network documentation, including diagrams, configurations, and procedures.
• Create and update network topology maps.
• Capacity Planning:
• Monitor network utilization and plan for capacity upgrades as needed.
• Evaluate network hardware and recommend enhancements.
• Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• Minimum 10 years of hands-on experience in network engineering.
• Strong knowledge of Cisco networking equipment (routers, switches, firewalls).
• Experience with network protocols (TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, VLANs).
• Proficiency in network monitoring tools (SolarWinds, Wireshark, etc.).
• Certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, or equivalent (preferred).
