Responsibilities:

• Respond to and resolve user issues promptly to ensure minimal downtime and optimal performance.
• Deploy, configure, and manage Fortinet network security solutions, including firewalls, intrusion prevention systems (IPS), virtual private networks (VPN), and secure access solutions.
• Perform network architecture assessments and provide recommendations for enhancing security posture and optimizing network performance.
• Develop and maintain network documentation, including network diagrams, configurations, and procedures.
• Monitor and analyze network traffic to detect and mitigate security threats and vulnerabilities.
• Troubleshoot network issues and provide timely resolution to ensure minimal downtime and optimal performance.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors to implement network infrastructure upgrades and expansions.
• Stay abreast of emerging technologies and industry trends related to network security and Fortinet products.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Network Engineer with a focus on Fortinet technologies.
• Strong understanding of network protocols, routing, and switching concepts.
• Hands-on experience with Fortinet products, including FortiGate firewalls, FortiAnalyzer, FortiManager, and FortiAP.
• Solid understanding of security best practices and industry standards (e.g., CIS, NIST).
• Experience with network monitoring and troubleshooting tools (e.g., Wireshark, Datadog).
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work well under pressure.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with team members and clients.
• Fortinet certification(s) such as NSE 4, NSE 5, or NSE 7 is highly desirable.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field preferred.
