Key Responsibilities
Design, implement, and maintain network infrastructure, including routers, switches, firewalls, and other networking devices.
Configure and optimize network performance, ensuring reliability, security, and scalability.
Monitor network traffic and performance to identify and resolve issues proactively.
Implement and enforce network security measures to protect against cyber threats and unauthorized access.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support network requirements for new projects and initiatives.
Troubleshoot network problems and provide timely resolution to minimize downtime.
Document network configurations, procedures, and best practices.
Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in network engineering.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
Proven experience as a Network Engineer or similar role.
Strong understanding of networking concepts and protocols, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, and VPNs.
Experience with network hardware and software, including Cisco, Juniper, Palo Alto, and Fortinet.
Familiarity with network monitoring and management tools, such as Wireshark, Nagios, and SolarWinds.
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
Effective communication and collaboration skills in a remote work environment.
Cisco or other relevant certifications are a plus.
