The computer network technician is responsible for the installation, configuration, and maintenance of computer networks and related hardware and software. They play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of communication infrastructure.

Our client is looking for an experienced Network Computer Technician to join their team on a full-time basis.
Job Description
The computer network technician is responsible for the installation, configuration, and maintenance of computer networks and related hardware and software. They play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of communication infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and troubleshoot computer network hardware and software, including routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless access points.
- Perform network monitoring and analysis to identify and resolve network performance issues.
- Implement and maintain network security measures, such as access controls, firewalls, and intrusion detection systems.
- Provide technical support and training to end-users on network-related issues.
- Collaborate with IT teams to plan and implement network upgrades, expansions, and migrations.
- Maintain accurate documentation of network configurations, policies, and procedures.
- Respond to and resolve network-related incidents and service requests in a timely manner.
- Stay up to date with the latest network technologies, protocols, and industry best practices.
- Diploma or degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field is preferred.
- Certification in network administration, such as CompTIA A+, CompTIA Network+, CompTIA Security+, CCNA, or JNCIA, is preferred.
- Hands-on experience in network installation, configuration, and troubleshooting.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills to identify and resolve complex network issues.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills to provide effective support to end-users.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Continuous learning and adaptability to keep up with the evolving technology landscape.
- Must have a valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and with a clean driving history!
