Network Analyst (ON-SITE)

**This is NOT a remote position**

The Network Analyst helps design, implement, manage, and triage Cal.net’s Network in a fast-paced team environment. This individual will leverage an introductory to intermediate level of knowledge and experience in IP Networking, Microwave, Fixed Wireless, or Passive Optical Network to reach the goals of the position.

Focus:

·        Design, deploy, and support the company’s network, meeting engineering and business constraints while maintaining architectural standards.

·        Focus on network design, performance, maintenance, problem resolution and hardware configuration.

·        Design, configure, test, and maintain network equipment and related services for network support.

·        Contribute to the diagnosis and resolution of complex network problems.

·        Track and record network designs, roadmap, achievements, and more.

·        Comply with all security policies, best practices, company procedures, etc. to ensure that the highest level of system and data integrity is maintained.

·        Participate in technical design meetings with peers to ideate new network features.

Skill Set:

• 1-3 years of experience designing, deploying, and supporting network infrastructure.
• Hands-on experience implementing and administrating network devices and setting and maintaining policies and rights within a network environment.

·        Technical understanding of telecom network hardware and components (IP Networks, L2/L3 wide area transports, passive optical networks, RSVP/MPLS-TE, BGP)

·        Great analytical and problem-solving skills.

·        Strong communication skills, both written and spoken.

·        Internet Service Technical Support

·        Field Operations

·        Nokia Network Routing Specialist I Certification

·        Cambium ePMP Certification
