Position Description
As a Network Engineer II, you will be responsible for the design, implementation, and maintenance of Cisco networking solutions to support the PT organization's business needs. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure a robust and secure network infrastructure.

As a Network Engineer II, you will be responsible for the design, implementation, and maintenance of Cisco networking solutions to support the PT organization's business needs. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure a robust and secure network infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities
- Network Design:
- Design, plan, and implement Cisco-based network solutions to meet business requirements
- Develop and maintain network architecture documentation
- Installation and Configuration:
- Install, configure, and troubleshoot Cisco routers, switches, Wireless Controller, and other networking devices
- Implement and manage network protocols, such as BGP, OSPF, and EIGRP
- Configure and maintain VLANs, VPNs, and other network security features
- Network Monitoring and Optimization:
- Monitor network performance, identify issues, and implement solutions to optimize performance
- Conduct regular network assessments to ensure scalability and reliability
- Security Implementation:
- Implement and maintain security measures to protect the network infrastructure
- Implement and enforce network access control policies
- Troubleshooting and Support:
- Respond to and resolve network-related incidents and service requests
- Collaborate with internal and external support teams to troubleshoot and resolve network issues
- Provide on-call support as needed
- Collaboration and Communication:
- Work closely with other IT teams and departments to understand business requirements
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders to provide updates and gather requirements
- Documentation:
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date network documentation
- Create and update standard operating procedures for network-related tasks
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in network engineering, with a focus on Cisco technologies
- Cisco certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, or CCIE preferred
- Proven experience in designing, implementing, and maintaining Cisco-based network solutions
- Strong understanding of TCP/IP, routing, switching, and subnetting
- Knowledge of network security principles and best practices
- Familiarity with network monitoring tools
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Effective communication and collaboration skills
