Responsible for the backup, restoration, administration and maintenance of the credit union’s system backup infrastructure. Reviews, analyzes, and supports the credit union’s backup system needs to ensure the viability of the credit union’s disaster recovery (DR) plan. Responsible for the day to date maintenance of the Credit Unions server infrastructure, including Azure, VMWare ESX, Nutanix and all supporting systems. Functions as the primary resource for the credit union’s cloud infrastructure including day to day management, best practice implementation, and overall health.

Required Skills & Experience

• Bachelor of Arts/Science degree from an accredited college or university in Information Systems required OR certification in VMWare, Microsoft or systems administration or ability to obtain within 6 months, in lieu of degree, is required.
• 3 years of IT-related experience required.
• 2 years of experience with MS Azure or other relevant cloud providers required.
• Must have Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Server OS2016, 2019; Basic knowledge of Linux-based operating systems.
• Requires knowledge of VMware systems, SAN administration, servers, and other related computer hardware.

• Ability to move freely (standing, stooping, walking, bending, pushing and pulling) and lift up to a maximum of fifty (50) pounds without assistance.
• Must be able to sit for extended periods of time.
• Must be able to read, write, speak and type English.
• Must be able to hear and use a telephone.

• This role is fully remote, with the option to work from our HQ or retail locations.
