We are offering a contract employment opportunity for a Network Administrator in the manufacturing industry based in Valdese, North Carolina. The selected candidate will be responsible for auditing and supporting network infrastructure, firewall rules review, and configuration management.
Responsibilities
Execute a global audit of the network infrastructure and design visio diagrams on WAN & LAN network for corporate infrastructure.
Provide support for the Network segmentation project Industrial.
Conduct a comprehensive review of Firewall rules and activate logs on recommended traffics.
Configure Fortianalyzer on all US Firewalls and archive logs following governmental instructions.
Utilize Cisco Routers and Cisco Technologies for network administration tasks.
Employ EO/IR systems, Firewall Technologies, and Microsoft Active Directory in daily operations.
Implement Backup Technologies and manage Computer Hardware.
Carry out Configuration Management and Design tasks.
Handle WAN Technologies and manage the WAN - Wide Area Network.
Requirements
Demonstrated proficiency in Cisco Routers and Cisco Technologies
Experience with EO/IR systems and Firewall Technologies
Proficient in Microsoft applications and Active Directory
Knowledge of Backup Technologies and Computer Hardware
Experience in Configuration Management
Ability to design and implement network structures
Familiarity with WAN Technologies and WAN - Wide Area Network
Previous experience in a manufacturing environment
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Willingness to stay updated with the latest advancements in network technologies.
