Your seat at the table: Network Administrator

You will love this seat if you get, want, and have the capacity to:

• System Administration
• Maintain IT system infrastructure, including servers, networks, and associated hardware/software.
• Ensure systems are optimized, secure, and up-to-date.
• Incident & Request Handling
• Manage processes for addressing IT incidents and fulfilling service requests, prioritizing timely and accurate resolution.
• IT Service Delivery Management:
• Ensure all IT services are delivered efficiently and in alignment with set standards and Service Level Objectives (SLOs).
• User Provisioning Oversight
• Manage the process of setting up and managing user accounts and access permissions, ensuring timely and accurate provisioning of IT resources.
• Help Desk Administration
• Administer help desk operations to provide effective first-line support, ensuring quick resolution of IT issues and high user satisfaction.
  

We Need This Seat To Have

• Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, or related field, or equivalent work experience.
• Relevant certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate or higher-level Azure certifications.
• 3-5 years’ experience in managing Azure environments. Proven track record in implementing and managing cloud-based solutions, particularly within Microsoft Azure.
• Emphasize a strong understanding of security protocols and compliance requirements to protect organizational data and resources.
• Proficiency in managing Azure AD objects. Experience with Azure AD synchronization and authentication. Experience with Single Sign-On (SSO), Conditional Access policies, Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA), and auditing identity-related activities. Knowledge of Role-Based Access Control (RBAC).
• Skills in securing and managing storage accounts, including configuring network access and implementing storage replication.
• Ability to configure and manage Virtual Machines (VMs) for high availability and scalability and experience with containers.
• Experience with securing virtual network resources with Network Security Groups (NSGs) and Application Security Groups (ASGs). Knowledge of configuring DNS zones, VPN Gateway, and ExpressRoute.
• Experience using Azure Monitor for resource monitoring, log analytics, and alerting. Proficiency in implementing backup and recovery solutions using Azure Backup.
• Ability to analyze complex systems and troubleshoot issues effectively. Strong attention to detail and accuracy in managing configurations and monitoring systems.
• Proactive approach to identifying potential issues and implementing preventative measures. Innovative in finding solutions to technical challenges.
• Clear and effective communication skills
