NATIONWIDE SEARCH CHICAGO, IL- Super fun & active family outside of Chicago in Winnetka, IL is looking for a FULL-TIME NANNY / HOUSEHOLD ASSISTANT for their three children ages 5, 3, and 1.5 years old. Hours are M-F 10am-7pm. The position is LIVE OUT.
They are looking for someone who is self-motivated and intelligent; someone who is always thinking ahead and can & will get IT done! The ideal candidate is metaphorically in mom's brain and executes a plan of action with little to no hand-holding-- someone who is thoughtful and meticulous in their approach. Someone who can come up with things to do, even if it seems like there is nothing to be done-- there is always something to be done! Thinking outside the box, keeping track of inventory, and anticipating needs is essential. Mom is self-proclaimed type A but is also a sweetheart! She is genuinely looking for her work wife within the household; someone amazing with kids but also at managing the schedule, and keeping things organized! Ideally, this person is a self-starter, is outgoing, creative, brings good energy to the home and the kids, loves what they do, and wants the best for the kids; someone who is punctual, flexible, and discreet. Overall, they are a fun family with something always going on! They take great care of their employees and are looking for someone to fit in seamlessly with them-- someone with a great personality & sense of humor, and who the girls will love!
Their girls are so sweet and well-behaved, and they are all pretty easygoing generally speaking! You will be in charge of all childcare-related duties including running errands, wrangling to and from activities, light housekeeping and cooking; traveling as needed! Must be willing to travel! You will also assist with house management duties while the kids are sleeping such as opening packages, placing orders, etc. They have one large dog who occasionally needs to be walked, fed, etc. Must be fully vaccinated (TDAP, influenza, and Covid). They have a full-time housekeeper, so someone who can be both autonomous, but an excellent team player is ideal. No drama! They are truly a loving, sweet, and kind family looking for someone to join their bustling household for the long term!
Pay is commensurate ($30-35/hr gross via payroll) with experience + PTO. Willing to help with relocation for the perfect fit!
BA/BS college degree | AA in related field of study
CPR/First Aid Certification (renew as needed)
Ability to make a one-year commitment unless applying for a temporary position
A passion for working with children
Two+ years childcare experience
Excellent work and personal references
U.S. driver's license (this does not apply to NYC residents)
Complete Stop the Silence Training upon Membership
Fluent in English/Bilingual a plus
Competent swimmer
Non-smoker
Willing to go through extensive Background Check
Must be Live-Scanned and registered with Trustline if CA resident
Willingness to show proof of immunizations
No-cell phone driving signed guarantee
