Job Overview
National Traveling Superintendent (ON-SITE) will have overall responsibility for an assigned construction project in the verticals listed above with a value $20M+ and a proven track record on safety, quality, budgeting and scheduling.
- Manage the activities of subcontractors, vendors, and labor, maintaining strict control over the accuracy and quality for each work activity.
- Plan look-ahead schedules, maintain project schedule controls.
- Identify and report problems or deficiencies to the Director / project executives
- Document on-site activities that may impede progress or compliance to project/contract requirements
- Review subcontract agreements
- Maintain strict control over the budget for each work activity
- Assist in preparation of project status report and provide complete daily reports to the Project Manager.
Qualifications – Detailed:
- High school diploma or equivalent from an accredited institution
- 5+ years of experience as a Project Superintendent in Commercial Construction
- Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written
- Strong problem-solving abilities
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and construction management software (e.g., Procore, Primavera P6, Bluebeam, Microsoft Project)
- Expertise in quality assurance and on-site safety protocols
- Experience with scheduling tools
- Proficiency in construction scheduling and subcontractor coordination
- Familiarity with field management tools
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- OSHA 10-hour certification
Projects led should include the Ground Up New Construction, Retrofit, and Major Renovation scopes of work. Please include a Project List of most recent completed or ongoing projects.
