Jobot is partnering with a reputable and growing manufacturing company to staff a position as the National Specification Manager. The National Specification Manager will be responsible for the following
Develop a strong pipeline of projects which is subsequently managed through the supply chain to final installation and actual sales.
Evolve the Specification strategy for North America, involving the identification of opportunities in key sectors.
Develop relationships with key Architects, Designers, Specifiers, Developers, General Contractors and end users.
Work with our Distribution and OEM partners to leverage their resources to maximize sales opportunities.
Work with Product Management to develop the Specification team’s knowledge and ability to give sound technical and application advice, based on the customer’s requirement.
Maximize project pipeline through lead/project generation tools/platforms.
Review effectiveness of current activities, such as CEU’s and Lunch & Learns, and contribute to their evolution.
Liaise with the Marketing department to identify opportunities to boost brand awareness as well as more tactical targets.
Manage KPI’s and targets of the Specification team.
Ensure that projects and relevant data is maintained in our CRM system.
Carry out ongoing reviews and annual appraisals with Specification team.
Represent North America in any international company Specification meetings.
If you have a Bachelors Degree, a proven track record of success within Specification whether Manufacturer, Distributor, OEM or other areas of the supply chain, 5+ years of leadership experience, have a network of contacts within leading A&D firms and other end-users, strong technical skills within CRM software and MS Office Suite, the ability to gain the trust of new customers and retain the trust of existing customers, outstanding customer service acumen and the ability to travel about 75% of the time, than this could be an excellent opportunity for you.
