National Field Director
Looking for an amazing opportunity to lead a fundraising division in North America? Up Fundraising is looking for a National Field Director to join and support our various campaigns. First locally the successful candidate will develop and grow a team from the ground up, then expand and take the same success to other markets both already established and new.
Ideally located in New York City, but this role is open to the right candidate across the USA.

Duties:
- Lead by example being in the field achieving set targets
- Identify and grow skills in staff members; delegate the necessary authority to them and create optimum working conditions
- Represent the organization, or delegate representatives to act on behalf of the organization, in negotiations or other official functions
- Work with the recruitment department to recruit and onboard fundraisers
- Evaluate existing training programs and implement any changes or improvements
- Work with Account Managers to set daily, weekly and monthly targets and manage teams to meet targets
- Ensure campaign KPIs around acquisition and retention are met and exceeded
- Train new fundraisers/fundraising managers to ensure success
- Establish and maintain relationships with industry influencers and key strategic partners
- Work with Account Managers to develop in-field campaign materials
- Directly lead a team of 8 – 15 fundraisers as well as manage 2 – 4 Team Leaders or Managers.
- Business Development
- Minimum of 3-5 years of face-to-face (F2F) fundraising management experience
- Minimum 3-5 years proven track record of leading fundraising campaigns is mandatory
- Experience across multiple areas of F2F Fundraising (i.e. Door, Street, Private Site, Experiential) is mandatory
- Ability to train and motivate a team of fundraisers
- Ability to identify and nurture skills in others to grow new leaders of the organization
- Willingness to work successfully with local team(s) while working towards growing other markets and our expansion plans
- Self-starter who loves to inspire people to make a difference
- Experience fundraising for a child sponsorship program is considered an asset
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to use technology and analysis tools (Excel, Outlook, Internet, Word)
- Strong interpersonal skills combined with determination, resiliency, and a positive attitude
- Must be willing to travel across the USA
