Responsibilities

  • Passion to Win
  • Customer & Broker Management: own customer relationships across the Natural/Specialty channel of trade, manage brokers & closely track execution and results.
  • Business Planning & Execution: develop and implement plans to achieve/exceed sales targets with retailers across Natural & Specialty channels of trade; drive trial & awareness through new and expanded distribution; create and execute smart trade investment plans to grow velocities.
  • Cross Functional Partnership: be proactive - identify opportunities and contribute to improving business processes; work collaboratively across departments and with external stakeholders.
  • Business Planning & Analysis: accurate & timely forecasts for case volume, trade spend, and profitability; analyze retailer + syndicated data to understand account trends & develop business plans to maximize Liquid Death sales & share; achieve account level sales & profit targets. Develop and implement effective and profitable trade promotion management strategies for all Natural/Specialty retailers.
  • Marketplace Execution: meet regularly with field sales teams and retail partners; quarterly business reviews with distributors and DSD partners (where applicable).
  • Willingness to Travel: customer appointments, field sales audits, trade shows, etc.

Knowledge, Skills, & Experience

  • 5+ years of experience in Regional / National Account management in the Natural channel, specifically Whole Foods.
  • Background with Broadline distribution (UNFI/KeHE). DSD experience a plus.
  • Broker and distributor management required.
  • Startup and beverage experience a major plus.
  • Exceptional negotiator & influencer.
  • Intellectual curiosity. Forward thinker. Owner mentality.
  • Outstanding sales management experience & achievement.
  • Must be able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong organizational & analytical skills. Sound understanding of reporting systems including: Nielsen, IRI, & retailer portal data.
  • Excellent presentation skills, both written & verbal.
  • Juggle multiple priorities, manage deadlines both internal and external.
  • Experience working with trade promotion management systems, Vividly a major plus.

Physical Demands

  • Travel up to 50%.
  • Trade Shows, Events, and Field Work – ability to walk, sit, and stand for long periods of time.
  • Must be able to lift up to 25 lbs.

The typical salary range for this position is : $92k - $113k

The actual salary offer will take into account multiple factors including skills, experience, education and location. Please note that the salary details listed in role postings reflect the base salary only, not total compensation, which includes equity and benefits.
