National Account Manager (Beauty & Wellness Organization – Remote Based)
Our client has been an industry and innovator in the world of bath, beauty, and wellness for over 50 years. They are seeking 2 National Account Managers who will be based remotely.
1) NSM – Ulta & Specialty Retailers
2) Major Mass, Grocery and/or Drug Channel retailers
Reporting to the SVP Sales, the National Accounts Manager is responsible for leading, developing, and managing their sales strategies and retailer relationships with major national accounts. You will be the face for their retail partners and brokers, building effective working relationships and delivering expansion and sales goals. You will work collaboratively across key functions (i.e., marketing, finance, logistics, operations) to develop sales strategies that align with company priorities and growth targets.
Responsibilities:
Develop National Accounts strategies to deliver assigned budget targets on a monthly, quarterly and yearly basis
Build and nurture strong sales partnerships with brokers and retailers, both current and new
Collaborate with cross-functional partners to support financial and budget planning internally
Work with internal stakeholders for proposed plans; negotiate with accounts to achieve company's best position
Monitor retailer sales and inventories; assess risks and opportunities; communicate and implement best profit and high customer satisfaction solutions
Develop, lead, and identify ideal processes with key stakeholders to ensure all necessary business deliverables are achieved in a timely manner
Create positive working relationships across all levels of the business.
Represent and demonstrate exemplary execution of UCS values with business partners and emerging businesses
Exhibit comprehensive knowledge of customers and channels; ability to communicate that knowledge, serving as the voice of our customers internally
Lead the development of distribution, assortment curation and pricing strategies
Ensure all customer contracts and programs are negotiated effectively to deliver business objectives
Think outside of the box, identify opportunities and related risks; assess situation and propose actions
Qualifications / Ideal Candidate
Proven track record in major retail accounts channels
Experience opening new sales avenues and collaborating with both new and established brokers
Exceptional Networking and Relationship-Building Skills – you cultivate and nurture connections with retail partners, brokers, and internal stakeholders to build strong relationships.
Growth-oriented mindset – adaptability is your strength. You demonstrate flexibility to pivot work priorities as needed to meet the dynamic demands of the business
