Role: National Accounts Manager

Location: East of the Mississippi River


Scope:

Identify, target, and build business relationships with new and existing national account customers to maintain or increase demand for products within the trucking and black box industry.


Responsibilities:

- Identify and develop new business opportunities by analyzing market trends and untapped segments.

- Drive organic growth with current customers by understanding key challenges and acting as a consultative partner.

- Meet with customers to demonstrate product value, train, and educate them on product usage.

- Research and monitor market trends, competitors' sales activities, and consumer needs.

- Develop and execute sales plans consistent with the commercial strategy.

- Use CRM to maintain customer records and manage the opportunity pipeline.

- Utilize data analytics tools, such as Tableau, to identify growth opportunities, improve efficiency, and make strategic decisions.

- Develop deep and wide relationships within customers' organizational structures, focusing on strategic relationships with key decision-makers.

- Negotiate contracts.

- Participate in performance reviews, annual sales meetings, and ongoing training and development.

- Collaborate with internal teams, including sales, product development, marketing, and supply chain, to ensure alignment and successful execution of account plans.


Education, Experience, & Requirements:

- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in a related field.

- 5+ years of progressive sales and key account development experience.

- Significant overnight travel and frequent in-person customer visits required.

- Knowledge/Experience in the trucking, automotive and black box industry.

- Proven negotiating experience.

- Strong problem-solving skills.

- High technical proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, etc.).

- Ability to efficiently use data analytics and related tools.

- Strong communication skills, both internally and externally.

- Highly organized and skilled in time management.

- Ability to present to large groups across various customer types.

- High level of professionalism and integrity.
